This dataset provides historical hydrological simulations as well as hydrolog-ical seasonal reforecasts and forecasts for the period 1993 to present.
The data represent the current state-of-the-art in hydrological seasonal fore-casting, and uses multiple hydrological models and multiple meteorological inputs.
The hydrological seasonal forecasts provide impact model predictions based on the meteorological forecasts provided by C3S. The data set includes his-torical observation driven hydrological simulations (for initialization of the forecasts), reforecasts for a past period to allow assessment of skill and past performance, and monthly updated forecasts based on the two meteorologi-cal seasonal forecast products ECMWF-S51 and CMCC-S35.
The hydrological seasonal forecasts are driven by the meteorological season-al forecast ECMWF-s51 and CMCC-s35.
This dataset was produced on behalf of the Copernicus Climate Change Service.
